Tide Pools

The tides pools were lots of fun. The kids really wanted to find an octopus, but didn't have any luck. The loved spotting crabs
Taylor spotted some Flamingos at Grandma and Grandpa's hotel and she was so excited to see them in person. She had recently done a school report on Flamingos.

Sea World

We love sea world. Our favorite part was the shows. The kids also loved playing around on the big playground afterwards.

Mormon Battalion

We went to the Mormon Battalion visitors center. It was cute and fun (but quite cheesy). They did an interactive tour, and afterwards they panned for gold.
Cooper said his favorite part of the vacation was the beach. We went to Coranado, and the sand was so soft and wonderful. If we had this much fun on a cold chilly day, I would like to see us there on a nice warm day.

Balboa Park

We had a fabulous time at Balboa Park. The Science Center was wonderful. Not crowded at all, and there were tons of hands on activities for the kids.

Disneyland

We had a fabulous trip to California. It was perfect! The only thing I would change is the stop in Vegas on the way there and the way back. We did not like staying on the strip. So, aside from Vegas, the vacation could not have been any better! We arrived at the Grand California, and they upgraded us to a room with enough beds for our whole family. After checking in and exploring the hotel, we decided to go for a swim. The kids had so much fun going up and down the water slides. In the evening we played around at downtown disney and went out to eat with Grandma and Grandpa. The next few days were spent playing at the parks. The kids loved to be able to meet up with cousins and Grandma and Grandpa. It was just perfect!
