Treat Maker

Taylor told me today that when she grows up she wants to be a treat maker. She said that she will make treats for everyone so that if they eat something healthy she can give them a treat.

Pioneer Day Relay Races

The kids had a blast doing the Provo pioneer celebration. There were tons of missionary volunteers helping the kids do old fashion pioneer games and activities. They went "digging for gold" and did a bunch of relays and stuff. When we got home Taylor said, "That was fun, huh Pooper?"

Tonight we are going to do smores and firworks.

We took the kids to Thanksgiving Point today. They loved the animals! The pony rides were especially a hit.

Family Home Evening Picnic and Hike

Yesterday was a fun day. Jason was off work so we decided to do Family Home Evening. Jason helped the kids make root beer. We had a picnic in the backyard complete with sandwiches, lunchables, chips and dip, root beer and fun dip. It was a feast.

Then we went to Bridal Veil Falls. Cooper loved it and Taylor did not. Taylor asked me if we can do Family Home Evening at home. The water was FREEZING but that never stops Cooper.

Taylor's New Look

Yesterday, Taylor decided to get her ears pierced. We told her that it would hurt. She wanted me to hold one hand, Jason to hold the other, and Cooper to hold her foot. She did so well with her last doctor's short so I thought she would handle this well. She handled it well, but you could tell it really really hurt. She cried for a second afterwards.

More July 4th

July 4th 2008

We had a fun gathering at our house for July 4th. We had a bunch of Jason's family over for a bbq, slip and slide, sparklers, hot tub and fireworks. Taylor has a blast running around with her cousin Emily. Cooper LOVED the fireworks. He was so excited about them. The following day, he asked me for fireworks again.
